ORTEGA and FRATELLI - recommended for amazing food

Michael and Elvira carefully craft and tailor their immersion courses and workshops to the audience. Amazing ability to explain elements and concepts. A private lessons was a must for me.

Suyay and Jonny shared their unique experience, techniques and phylosophy of tango.

Byron Bay Tango Festival 3 - 5 May 2024

A break away tango retreat, Byron Bay TF is something we look forward to every year. This year we immersed in learning with maestros Bruno Tombari and Rocio Lequio. The couple is not only amazing dancers, but also very fine teachers. They have fantastic teaching technique and playfully explain the most complex concepts. We were fascinated with the high-level workshops and one on one lessons on musicality and fluidity of tango.

Thank you to all tango friends who attended our first series of workshops. It was so much fun and we loved all your genuine feedback. One thing we forgot - to take the pictures! (mental note for the next time)

Top End Tango Marathon
Darwin September  2023

The first tango festival in Darwin and a great success! Huge thank you to the organisers and the friendly Darwin tango community. Such a joy meeting old friends and making new ones.
The week was packed with milongas, shared yummy meals, tango conversations, exploring national parks, swimming in the waterfalls, sunset dinners (on the boat!), and a crocodile encounter. We want to come back next year!

BASH 2022
25-27 November
Bundanoon

Big warm thank you to the organisers of this year's Buenos Aires in the Southern Highlands (BASH), the host and the fellow co-habitants of the impromptu Tango House, the star musicians, and all the tango community that made this weekend so magical.

Tango Eternal at Bundanoon
Social Tango

Canberra Tango Community did an amazing job hosting TISP 2022. This is the first time we’ve danced together at the elegant Albert Hall, hidden in the forest. Meeting old friends, dancing with the long-time favorites and discovering exciting new tango partners, walking around Canberra, visiting splash-colored Floriade – all of this was a unique tango and life experience. Tango is coming back – strong and beautiful.

It looks like traffic conditions are toughening in Brisbane, making it difficult to get to the class by 6 pm.

We are moving the Tango Introduction class to 6:30 pm to make it easier for you!

A launch of our Dance Studio

18 APRIL 2022

It has been quite a journey.
After months of hard work, we have converted a dark room with an uneven lino floor and blank walls into a bright studio with mirrors, an inviting dance floor, and impeccable white walls that await to see people having a fantastic time.
Our studio launch is on 30 April and classes commence on 5 May.
